Hawksbill Turtle

Image
This week, I researched the Hawksbill Turtle. Sea turtles are a favorite for my mom and aunt, so it only felt right to research a critter that they love. Donate here to help Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park support Hawksbill nesting sites. As always, click on the graphic to view it in higher resolution!

Green Sawfish

This week's friend is the Green Sawfish! These creatures have awesome noses, but are sadly drastically declining. Read about the Sawfish Conservation Society here , and donate if you wish using the button in the top right. Click on the graphic to view it in higher resolution.

Von der Decken's Sifaka

Image
Let's learn about the Decken's Sifaka! I first learned of these lemurs when watching a National Geographic special with photographer Joel Sartore, who created the Photo Ark . I own his book of photographs, and it is truly awe-inspiring. Click on the graphic to view it in higher resolution. And, as an added bonus, check out this video from BBC Earth of them swingin' around their natural habitat!

Titicaca Water Frog

Image
I have created a graphic overview of the Titicaca Water Frog, an endangered species endemic to Lake Titicaca. This is the first in my series about endangered species, and I'm excited to continue this design style and learn about new (to me) species. Click on the graphic to view it in higher resolution. Sign the petition to save the Titicaca Water Frog!
